Chasing Butterflies- For the girl who just kept chasing and could never let go.

Lead me out of my comfort zone,
and still I pursue.
Now miles away from home, but
I'm entranced -
you swoop and rise, flying just too high
for my straining
fingers.

Scaling new heights; and
so far out of reach, I know,
deep down,
I can't reach you.
But that presence alone brought me comfort.
Joy. Love -

- No more. Climbing too fast,
too high.
And I know that I have to stop,
sit down,
and cry.

His shadow cast on the floor at my feet -
ever climbing, up through the light.
But gone from here.

This is just a bit of fun, because I figured I hadn't posted any real art work in a while - so this is an attempt to fill the gaps, I suppose.

Me and ~moorey12 went out to take photos after school in an attempt to find inspiration for our new art project, the theme for which is 'Viewpoints'.

It's actually pretty difficult to come up with something original... and a popular style is to photograph something through a hole in something else
